Allowing Students and Pizza Delivery Drivers To Live Near Us Will Cause CHAOS

We can have $1 million dollar houses surrounded by motel courts and STRs and rentals.

That is unlikely to favorably impress folks from other towns.

It is a quick drive to Elgin, Manor, Round Rock, Pflugerville, Buda and Kyle. With telecommunting and large lots with wide trees and privacy in the back yard, why would anyone want to live among a bunch to ticky tacky full of students and pizza delivery drivers?

University Park, Highland Park, and River Oaks control those issues thru zoning and deed restrictions. Folks w/ $1 million mortgages will be surprised to see the cottage courts show up on the corners and large lots. Then retail businesses like day cares will show up in the middle of n'hoods/ It will simply be CHAOS - what ever the builder wants.

When will the bubble bust and folks decide it isn't worth a $1 million gamble to buy in Austin?
